Every year, each classroom is assigned a Representative who helps communicate between teacher and the parents. A Room Representative is a parent volunteer who serves as the contact person and coordinator for a particular classroom.
Tasks include:
Abide by the PTA regulations for room representatives.
Serve as the classroom contact parent for PTA and school events.
Collect a one-time OPTIONAL class fund at the beginning of the school year and manage class expenses.
Coordinate all classroom parties with the teacher (generally 4 parties).
Support and promote the work of PTA within the class and the school community.
