About Us

Garden Gate PTA is a non-profit and one of the constituent organizations under California State PTA. We are a group of parent volunteers from Garden Gate, who work with teachers, the district, and the community, to enhance our children's education here at Garden Gate. The PTA helps fund various programs at Garden Gate: art, music, library, technology, educational and social events – programs that benefit the children and their families.

Our Mission

To enhance and enrich the school experience for all students by providing additional learning opportunities for both students and parents; by cultivating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere among all members of the school community including parents, teachers, staff members, and students; and by uniting in the effort to help all students to reach their full potential.

• To successfully incorporate and train more people into our PTA network so that everyone has an opportunity to contribute, share the knowledge and experience and thus ensure the continued success as a thriving PTA Unit.
• To provide transparency at all times on how PTA funds are dispersed.
• To help parents understand the importance of their participation in PTA activities.
