Taboo language database

This database contains taboo language (taboo words and multiword-expressions, including swear words, slurs, insults, ...), collected in 13 different languages and 17 countries. The database consists of two components:

• A collection of taboo language produced by native speakers

• Participant ratings on the most prominent expressions in each language on six dimensions: Concreteness, valence, arousal, age of acquisition, tabooness, and offensiveness
