William Sley

William married Hannah Johnson in Lechlade on 12 June 1788.

He was buried on 23 September 1836 in Lechlade. His age is noted in the parish register as ‘not known but aged’.

Hannah Johnson

Hannah was born in about 1766 (calculated from her supposed age at the time of death as noted in the burial record).

She was buried on 21 December 1828 in Lechlade, aged 62.

The following information has been found on William and Hannah’s children:

William Sley – baptised in Lechlade on 3 August 1789

Mary Sley – baptised in Lechlade on 18 March 1792 and buried in Lechlade on 7 July 1793

James Sley – baptised in Lechlade on 20 March 1800. He married Elizabeth Keble on 17 September 1828 in Lechlade. They had two children: Wilmot, baptised on 5 June 1831; and James, baptised on 17 February 1833, both in Lechlade.

Catherine Sley – baptised 7 November 1802 in Lechlade

Philadelphia Sley – baptised on 3 March 1805 [this person is still to be verified]
