There are many dining options on and around DePaul's Lincoln Park campus.

The Student Center has many dining options, some of which are open for breakfast. The Student Center is open 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-2pm Saturday, and closed on Sunday. There are also small cafés in both the Schmitt Academic Center and McGowan South.

Some nearby off-campus locations are listed here, although FPSAC participants should disregard comments about DePaul discounts.

More broadly, Chicago has a very well regarded food scene, and participants should take the opportunity of their visit to explore those exciting options.

Getting to ...

Chicago is served by two international airports, O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW), and Amtrak trains via Union Station. Participants can reach DePaul University from either airport by taking a taxi or by taking public transportation with one transfer (routes from O'Hare, routes from Midway).

All visitors should check current visa requirements for visiting the United States. Waiting times can vary. Please read all available information carefully when planning your trip.

Staying in ...

There are many other Chicago events during the week of FPSAC, so all housing should be booked as soon as possible. Also note that hotels often charge taxes on top of the prices that they quote, but that is not the case for the DePaul dormitory.

There are a limited number of dormitory rooms available in Clifton-Fullerton Hall, two blocks from where the talks will occur. Dorm reservations should be made as soon as possible because dorm beds will go to the first people to request them. Dorm guests will receive blanket, pillow, soap, sheets, pillowcase, towel, and wireless internet access. Dorm reservations can be made on the conference registration page, and the cost increases for reservations made after April 15.

There are a limited number of reduced price rooms available for FPSAC participants at the Hotel Lincoln. The hotel is approximately 1.25mi from the conference, and there are bus routes between the two. Interested participants should contact the hotel (nschutz@jdvhotels.com or +1.312.254.4700) as soon as possible, and mention "DePaul FPSAC - Attendees" to receive these rates. Anyone requiring a hotel room with two beds should mention that specifically via email.

There are many other hotels in the area or easily accessible to campus via public transportation. Again, because of other events occurring in Chicago at the same time as FPSAC, we encourage participants to arrange accommodation as soon as possible.
