This person watches swimmers for proper form and technique, and can issue warnings or even disqualifications. You will be walking the pool side and assigned to half the pool lanes. You will work with Judges from other teams. This job requires training at the annual clinic or by reviewing the USA Technique CD (which the pool provides) and reading the League technique rules. Each team is required to have 4 judges trained.
This person watches the swimmers touch the wall with any part of their body and records which swimmer touched first, second etc. You are not judging the swimmer stokes just the placing of the event.
