Pool Guidelines and Important Information:
Your Foresthill Community Pool offers public swim for swimmers of all ages in a family friendly setting. We staff the pool with certified lifeguards, and provide a safe and enjoyable way to spend summer afternoons.
The lifeguards and pool staff reserve the right to remove anyone from the pool area for the rest of the day if compliance with all pool safety rules posted at the pool and these swim guidelines are not followed.
Public Swim during the week is available to all swimmers. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult or be a responsible strong swimmer.
There is a break every hour for 15 minutes when no one is allowed in the pool except for lifeguards. During this time the snack bar is available.
Any child who cannot swim on their own and who is not wearing a life jacket MUST be accompanied in the shallow end of the water with an adult or a responsible strong swimmer at all times.
Personal flotation devices are only allowed for non-swimmers, and that person must be supervised by an adult or responsible strong swimmer in or near the pools edge at all times.
Life jackets/devices used must be Coast Guard Approved. Lifeguards will inspect devices before pool use can be permitted. The pool has approved jackets that are available for use.
Swimmers must be able to tread water for one full minute and be able to swim across the width of the pool to be able to swim in the deep end of the pool.
If wearing a life jacket, use of the diving board is NOT permitted for safety reasons.
No running in the pool area at any time.
No profanity, harsh language, or excessive public display of affection to be used in or around the pool area.
Teen Night - is for incoming Freshman and outgoing Seniors - 7-9pm every Saturday.
