Brief description (more details to follow): The forum will begin with two case studies on the use of language portfolios in educational institutions in Japan, with presenter offering hints for possible implementation by the audience. The second half will explain about a government-funded research project (The FLP SIG Kaken project, see http://tinyurl.com/FLPKaken) conducted by FLP SIG members, that will research and develop CEFR-informed materials and textbook. Possible future participation in the project by interested parties will also be discussed.
