In May 2019, we launched the maiden issue of our CEFR Journal:

Categories for contribution we are looking for are: articles (4,500-6,000 words), work in progress/practice reports (2,000-3,000 words), book reviews (400-500 words), or conference reports (400-500 words).

For starters, we are looking for abstracts of 250-300 words (excluding keywords and bibliography) by 30th November 2021. The abstracts need to state the category, give an outline of the intended text, name a minimum of five keywords, and present a preliminary bibliography.

If and when chosen by the CEFR Journal Editorial Advisory Board – see p. 3 in volume 1 (plus, additional more recently recruited experts in the field). All contributors will be contacted by mid-December, 2021. If accepted you will be asked to submit your text by mid-February, 2022. A double blind peer review will follow. You may be asked to revise your text, before it becomes part of volume 5 of our exciting new CEFR Journal.

3. The CEFR&LP SIG (former FLP SIG) Newsletter

The purpose of the CEFR&LP SIG is to share and discuss ideas: we would like to hear what are doing in your classes and institutions. Please feel free to submit your writing for submission to the newsletter. This can come in the form of short reports of full -length articles. It can cover past, present and future activities that you would to discuss or receive advice about. Other articles can include research articles, essays regarding pertinent issues, and reports on conferences or presentations you gave/attended.

The newsletter is published at least two times a year, in spring and in fall. Special editions are published on demand.

Next deadline for submission for CEFR&LP SIG Newsletter is July 20th, 2021 (Newsletter no. 32).

Also encourages submission to the newsletter regarding past, present and future activities that you would to discuss or receive advice about.

Newsletter #7 (June 2012) The bulk of the newsletter is related to the FLP SIG Kaken Project, which aims to research and develop CEFR-informed textbooks.
