Flags to Half-Staff Until Friday, September 20, in Honor of Washington, DC, Navy Yard Shooting Victims

CONCORD - President Obama has issued a proclamation ordering the lowering of flags on all public buildings and grounds to half-staff until sunset, Friday, September 20, as a mark of respect for the victims of today’s shootings at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

Governor Maggie Hassan has issued the following statement:

"I join the people of New Hampshire and all Americans in mourning those whose lives were tragically taken today in Washington, DC, and in sending thoughts and prayers to their families, loved ones and all who have been impacted by this senseless violence."
