Icelandic Sheepdogs

At Five-Gait Farm, we breed AKC registered purebred Icelandic Sheepdogs. All of our dogs are health tested working farm dogs with wonderful friendly temperaments. Our litters are raised in our home on our farm and are socialized appropriately. Our puppies are sold with their AKC registration, microchip, first veterinary examination and first vaccine all included. They are also maintained on an appropriate puppy deworming schedule. All puppy buyers are required to pick their puppy up from our farm in Eugene, Oregon unless prior arrangements have been made. All potential buyers are required to fill out an application and provide us with any additional information we might need to properly place a puppy into the best possible home. The "Forest Friends" Litter arrived on July 5th 2025. We are thrilled to welcome six beautiful puppies, three girls and three boys! We are accepting application for this litter, email us if you are intersted!

Five-Gait Álfadís gave birth to a beatiful litter of three on 6/1/24. The litter is sired by our male Vinlands Kappusino.

Both parents have OFA good hips, normal elbows and normal eyes. We expect the puppies from this litter to have wonderful loyal temperments and long beautiful coats. There may be a puppy or two available from this litter so contact us if you would like to be considered.

Five-Gait Kesja and Stokksels Álfur had 5 beautiful puppies born on 3/29/23. The litter has 2 boys and 3 girls in a lovely variety of colors! All these cuties have found homes. We will likely repeat this breeding. Contact us if you would like to be on the waitlist!

Stokksels Álfur has OFA excellent hips, normal elbows and normal eyes. He has produced several sweet, loving and smart puppies and is an excellent dog himself! His embark results can be seen here.
