Charles II Connection

Introduction

Trees showing how Frances Barkley's great granddaughter (Ada Tyler nee Perkins) was married to Charles II's great great grandson (General Bruce Tyler).

King Charles II’s favourite mistress Barbara Villiers had a great, great, great, great grandson who married Ada Perkins.

This assumes that Lady Ann Palmer (6 below) was fathered by the King. Court gossip was that she was conceived on the night of Charles's Coronation. Both Barbara Villiers and the King acknowledged Anne as his daughter and she was known by the alias Fitzroy, meaning "son of the king," but according to another source, “she is generally assigned to the 2nd Earl of Chesterfield, "whom," says Lord Dartmouth, "she resembled very much both in face and person."”

Generation numbering means Major General Tyler is Generation 11 where he and Ada are on the Perkins and other Fenwick trees.

She had 3s 3dau most believed to have been from her relationship with the King, incl
