Diets for IBD
Feed a highly digestible poultry only diet. We would recommend staying away from beef, lamb, fish, wheat, corn, and soy because these ingredients can cause intestinal inflammation. The most important thing, however, is that your cat is eating and likes the food.
The following is a list of foods that we recommend for cats with IBD:
Cooked and canned chicken for humans.
Turkey burger. You can get turkey burger patties from Trader Joe’s and warm them up in the microwave.
Stella and Chewy’s Chick, Chick Chicken and Tummy Ticklin’ Turkey, which is freeze dried raw food that you can add water to or feed dry.
