Like other North-European short-tailed sheep also the Estonian native sheep have short, triangular tail if the sheep is preserved well.

Many of the sheep that we found had however longer tail than usually is the case for other North-European short-tailed sheep. After 5 years of breeding correctly the tail is slowely changing back to become shorter.
