Estonian native sheep are white, black and grey. Many black sheep change color into brown during the summer or by age into grey. Many sheep have a mixture of these colors. The sheep that turn grey do it in two main ways
- either so that black turn gradually brown and then grey.
- a black animal turn at once from the root grey
There are also many different marks on the animals. No research on the marks have been done yet.
