The Daily Warm-Ups series is a wonderful way to turn extra classroom minutes into valuable learning time. The 180 quick activities—one for each day of the school year—practice
English/language arts skills. The daily activities are assigned at the very beginning of class to get students into learning mode. They are also assigned intermittently throughout class, depending on the pace, assignment and or activities for the time period. The Warm-Ups may be used in the middle of class to shift gears between lessons. Daily Warm-Ups allow for the student to practice continuously and remain familiar with varied aspects of English Language Arts.
The student is assigned a Daily Warm-Up Activity each day. Each activity focuses on various elements in English Language Arts, Writing, and Reading. The Daily Warm-Up is a resource used to assist the learner with continuously practicing The student may also read and take notes for understanding, if needed.
NOTE: It is the STUDENT'S responsibly to get and complete all missed Warm-Ups.
