Essix's Class Tutorial

TUTORIAL

Tutoring is provided to assist the learner with understanding strategies, skills, and content throughout the year. It is a small class setting that allows for remediation or instruction in certain areas and on certain elements. Tutorial is NOT "Study Hall" or an environment for the student(s) to socialize, play, make up or complete missed assignments. However, students can schedule a time to makeup a missed assessment due to an excused absence or circumstances beyond his or her control.

Students are to come with questions and ready to learn

The student MUST have permission from a parent/guardian prior to attending tutorial.

During the Georgia Milestones ONLY

The ENGLISH DEPARTMENT will hold tutorial Tuesday through Thursdays. Each week the teachers will focus on one SPECIFIC element to prepare the learner for the Georgia Milestones Assessment in April. PLEASE CAREFULLY read the information in the file "Counting Down the Miles for the Milestones" below or download and print the attachment.
