When Noelle and I lived and worked in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota, we would sometimes make trips south into the interesting terrain of western Nebraska. Part of our motivation may have been cheaper groceries, but there is certainly some interesting hiking and canoeing to be done in Nebraska.
