Project Overview

My dissertation consisted of three projects: 

• Rejection Sampler that increases the probability of generating a graphic sequence from a heavy-tailed distribution while preserving the desired degree distribution.

• Developed an algorithm that corrects non-graphic sequences into graphic sequences while preserving the desired degree distribution.

• An evaluation of the ability of the density decomposition to preserve degree distributions.
