1969 Paterson House
The defensive street appearance of this house conceals a surprisingly different interior that is spatially complex. The house footprint was compacted to disturb the bushland as little as possible.
The spatial thematic of complex interlocking volumes is brought into play with each space connecting to the other and each room having views of adjoining bushland.
The Paterson House is perhaps the most private of Taglietti's houses but one of the most interesting.
