1968 Saint Anthony Church
The floor and ceiling of the church are equal converse arms. At the perimeter the walls are less than three metres in height but due to the camber of the floor and upward tilt of the roof the volume rises to seven metres in the centre. The upsurge of the interior space is culminating in the high square skylight above the altar, here the natural light from the apex of the roof creates a powerful focus.
