Before kingdoms rose and rivaled each other for supremacy, there was one empire—the Han. The Han Expansion rewinds the Sanguosha timeline to its earliest days, spotlighting the pivotal figures who shaped the collapse of the Han dynasty and unknowingly paved the way for the Three Kingdoms era.

This unofficial expansion introduces 10 new generals, each belonging to the newly added Han faction. These generals are pulled from the twilight of Han rule: loyal ministers, bold reformers, and ambitious rebels who took part in the empire’s final struggles. Their stories set the foundation for everything that came after.

The Han faction offers a fresh tactical layer without introducing new mechanics. Each general is fully compatible with existing characters and gameplay systems, making the set easy to add into your standard deck. Han characters tend to be reactive and resilient, thriving in political environments and defensive standoffs.
