If X is two or more, Dong Cheng also recovers one health.
Secret Compartment 夹带
After his drawing phase, Dong Cheng may place exactly three cards from his hand face-down onto the table as Imperial Jades. At the start of his next drawing phase, he retrieves the Imperial Jades, returning them to his hand.
"Unite" functions similarly to Liu Bei’s "Kindness," but instead of giving cards, Dong Cheng enables others to draw new ones.
Dong Cheng can target himself with "Unite," and still gain the healing benefit if two or more players are selected.
The cards chosen for "Unite" must all be hand cards; equipment or delayed tools cannot be used.
When using "Secret Compartment," Dong Cheng retrieves the previous set of Imperial Jades before deciding whether to place a new set.
Imperial Jades are untouchable during the round—they cannot be affected by Steal, Break, or other cards or abilities.
The cards placed as Imperial Jades remain unknown to other players and cannot be viewed by others.

Functional but not ideal. While survivable, Dong Cheng depends heavily on a reliable loyalist team.
Strong. Offers healing and draw to the King while maintaining sustainability.
Moderate. Can build favor with allies and keep sustained pressure, but slow to deliver final blows.
Weak. Too dependent on coordination and long-term survival to thrive alone.
Dong Cheng is a supportive general who rewards generous play and patient planning. His "Unite" skill mirrors political alliances—offering strength in numbers—while "Secret Compartment" symbolizes quiet preparation for critical moments. Though not flashy or aggressive, Dong Cheng quietly tilts the balance of power with card advantage and healing, fitting for a man whose loyalty was bold, but whose means were careful.
Dong Cheng was a high-ranking court official and the Emperor’s uncle by marriage during the late Eastern Han. After being insulted and marginalized by Cao Cao, he famously conspired with Liu Bei and others to assassinate him in the name of restoring Han authority. His loyalty to the dynasty is reflected in "Unite," as he rallied like-minded allies to resist tyranny. "Secret Compartment" alludes to the hidden imperial decree from the Emperor sewn into his clothes—a real historical event symbolized by hiding cards. The balance of support and secrecy in his gameplay matches his political role: a silent protector of the Han cause, ultimately martyred for his unwavering commitment.
