Awakened

The Awakened Expansion is a small, unofficial addition that complements the mechanics introduced in the Mountain Expansion. Unlike previous expansions, this one does not add new generals to the game. Instead, its purpose is to smooth out the transition process for generals with Awakened Abilities—a key feature of the Mountain Expansion where generals evolve mid-game, gaining new powers, health adjustments, and altered abilities.

Each general in the Awakened Expansion represents a fully post-awakened version of a character from the Mountain Expansion. The best way to utilize this expansion is by replacing the original general card with the corresponding post-awakened card when a general awakens. This ensures a smoother experience by allowing players to track which generals have undergone their transformation, without mixing these generals into the general deck.

By focusing on refining the awakened mechanics, the Awakened Expansion enhances the tactical clarity of these mid-game power shifts, making it easier for players to manage and enjoy the full potential of their awakened generals.
