Extract 煎药
Once per turn, Ji Ping may discard a Peach or Wine to select any player. That player recovers one health, and Ji Ping draws one card.
Poisoning 投毒
Once per turn, Ji Ping may place any card from his hand or equipped area onto another player as a pending judgment card.
If the suit of the judgment does not match the suit of the pending card, that player loses one health.
Ji Ping can target himself with "Extract" if he wishes to recover health and draw a card.
"Extract" cannot be used on players who are already at full health, as there is no benefit to recovering.
"Poisoning" can use cards from Ji Ping's hand or his equipped area.
There is no distance restriction when using "Poisoning"; Ji Ping may target any player regardless of proximity.
The pending card placed by "Poisoning" remains on the table face-up and cannot be interacted with by cards like Steal or Break.
If the suits match during the judgment of "Poisoning", no health is lost.
Excellent support role with "Extract," providing healing and card draw simultaneously.
"Poisoning" provides constant pressure on enemies, forcing them into risky judgments.
"Poisoning" only causes health loss, not damage, so it does not trigger damage-related abilities.
Flexible targeting with both abilities, allowing offense and defense depending on the situation.
"Extract" is dependent on having Peach or Wine, which may not always be available.
Limited offensive capabilities beyond small incremental health loss.
Vulnerable if pressured early, as his abilities favor longer, drawn-out games.
Healing Allies:
Characters like Hua Tuo can benefit greatly from Ji Ping's healing support, ensuring their key abilities stay active longer.
Judgment Helpers:
Characters such as Zhang Jiao or Sima Yi, who manipulate judgments, can help ensure "Poisoning" succeeds.
High Survivability Groups:
Pairing with tanky characters like Zhou Tai or Hua Xiong allows Ji Ping to maintain a steady healing output without needing to rush.
Moderate choice. Provides strong healing and stall but lacks overwhelming board control.
Excellent. Can keep the King alive and harass Rebels with "Poisoning."
Decent. Able to chip away at the King’s resources while keeping allies healthy.
Good. His healing and "Poisoning" create opportunities to switch targets as needed and survive long term.
Ji Ping is a dependable support general who shines in games where healing and steady pressure are critical. "Extract" allows him to maintain team health while cycling cards for future use, and "Poisoning" adds an unpredictable element to enemy plans. Though not an explosive damage dealer, Ji Ping’s consistency and flexibility make him a valuable asset, especially in teamwork-focused matches where longevity is key.
Ji Ping was a well-known imperial physician during the late Han Dynasty. Historically, he is remembered for his attempt to poison Cao Cao at the behest of Dong Chen as an act of bravery and loyalty. His "Poisoning" ability directly references his role in this famous plot, while "Extract" represents his healing expertise within the palace. Ji Ping’s gameplay captures his dual nature—both as a healer dedicated to preserving life and as a conspirator willing to risk everything to protect the empire.
