Bounce N Play (at Moriches Indus Pk)

The Moriches Industrial Park on the Bypass (Frowein Road) is zoned L-1 for light industrial use as are other parcels on that part of the Bypass. An application was submitted on 11-6-08 for a special permit to use one of the seven buildings for a "Bounce and Play" facility. It is described this way by a proponent:
"Bounce N Play will be Long Islands one-of -a-kind 10,000 square foot creative Indoor Family Fun Center designed for all ages. Our bounce room will nourish children’s bodies with physical activity such as bouncing, sliding, climbing and tumbling. While our imagination room ignites children's creativity with dancing, karaoke, bubbles, costumes, a replica pretend soda fountain, imaginative games, and arcade games."
If approved, the facility would be in the front, eastward building. To approve the application, the Planning Board must make certain findings and consider at least 13 specified factors set forth in the Town Code.
