Boatyard Vistas

In 2006, a proposal was made for "Boatyard Vistas", a subdivision for 9 single-family houses with their own sewage treatment plant on 4.3 acres at the end of Maple Avenue, north of the Town boat ramp and pier.  EMPOA urged acquisition of the site as open space.

In December 2008, the County Legislature passed a "planning" resolution sponsored by Legislator Schneiderman to start the acquisition.
