More About Us

We've been a couple for over twelve years, living together for more than ten years and have been married since 2017. We're extremely close and consider ourselves really lucky to be best friends as well as husband and wife. We are both avid sports fans- Lucy is a Huddersfield Town season ticket holder whilst David follows Liverpool as well as every minute of the New York Giants in american football. Both of us are passionate readers and we're always keen to try new things.

Whilst we plan on having children soon- we feel like we have a baby already in the shape of our Labrador Buzz. We adopted him when he was five years old and he was quite a bit heavier back then as his owner was an elderly lady who wasn't able to take him for walks. After a much healthier diet as well as consistently being taken on three walks a day he's seven years old and has lost an awful lot of weight- nearly a third of his total mass!

Buzz is a fantastic part of the learning experience for students of all ages but his appearance in lessons is entirely optional. He is trained to spend a few seconds greeting a student before settling down and relaxing next to us during the lesson. We find that most parents are happy to include Buzz as part of the lessons but we know that not everybody is a dog lover, and we've even had students allergic to dogs in the past. In these cases he will remain out of the lessons and you don't need to ever see him.
