JOANA LOUREIRO, PhD

Research field: Pharmacology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Oncobiology

Joana Loureiro obtained her degree in Biochemistry at Universidade de Aveiro. Her MSc studies in Biochemistry at Faculty of Science, University of Porto, under the supervision of Prof. L. Saraiva, involved the molecular and pharmacological studies of the most prevalent mutant p53 forms. Her PhD thesis focused on new opportunities in skin cancer prevention and treatment by targeting p53.
