The aim of this course is to provide understanding the fundamentals of chemical thermodynamics and equilibrium involving gases, liquids and solutions, analysis of phase equilibrium, and kinetics of the reactions. The delivery methods throughout the courses include lectures, discussion and assignment. The communications and problem solving skills in students shall be cultivated and developed during the course.
Demonstrate the concepts of physical chemistry and its application in various chemical systems (LOD1, PLO1, C3)
Analyse the solution of the reaction rate problems using principles of physical chemistry (LOD2, PLO2, C4)
Present the processes and procedures involved in physical chemistry application effectively (LOD8, PLO5, A2)
Quiz and Test Questions shall be discussed through YouTube videos. Students are free to ask questions through Edmodo and YouTube (comments section).

The Industrial talk program is done in collaboration with Phamaniaga Berhad (Malaysia's largest listed integrated pharmaceutical group). This program is being carried out to give exposure to undergraduate students (BWK10303) to have a positive communication and collaboration with one of the leading industrial player in Malaysia.
To provide a platform and opportunity for students (Bachelor of Science Industrial Chemistry (Hons) to have an immersive teaching and learning environment to ensure the relevancy of the program with the every changing technology from the Industry.
To bridge the gap on the academic and skills mismatched between the courses thought in the university and the skills and knowledge needed by the industry.
To move towards providing Industrial Driven Experiential Learning (IDEAL) to undergraduate students as to ensure the continuous relevancy of the program.
