Upcoming Goodies
- New Arduino boards announced at Maker Faire NYC (Update: purchased an UNO)
- Also from Maker Faire NYC: Arduino shield for video game development
Things I want (but may not have a use for yet...)
- Lilypad (and starter kit)
- MotorShield (for my natural-light alarm clock idea) [competing version at sparkfun][competing version at adafruit] (Update: purchased)
- LCD (also for the natural-light alarm clock idea)
- a couple of XBee kits would be nice (possibly for Robot Battles project? Brandon used them.)
- maybe a MIDIVOX
- a joystick or game controller
- a robot chassis (Update: purchased)
- maybe not for me personally, but if I were to teach an Arduino/Processing course, this may be a good kit for solder-challenged students
- Ethernet shield
- Any project could probably benefit from a protoshield or, even better, a screw shield
- Shield for electroluminescent wire projects
- LolShield LED matrix
