We were thrilled to once again host the DFW Regional Brain Bee on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. We had a total of 23 competitors from 12 different local high schools! Congratulations to the following students who earned the first, second, and third place awards:
1st place: Vignesh Anand, Centennial High School, Frisco, TX
2nd place: Meghna Penumudi, Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, Denton, TX
3rd place: Nathan Beard, Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, Denton, TX
We'd like to give a special thanks to our judge, Ms. Ana Ortiz from UTSW for spending her Sunday with us at the Brain Bee. Thank you also to Anisha Sharma, Kaelyn Lee, Miranda Jefferds, and Aishu Anbuchezhiyan for their assistance with the Bee. Thank you to The Hockaday School for graciously funding the bee and for the Security, Maintenance, A/V, and Housekeeping staff who helped make the event possible.
