We are proud to say that the 2018 Hockaday DFW Brain Bee was a success! With a total of 13 competitors from five local schools, the following students earned the first, second, and third place awards. Please congratulate them on their outstanding performance!
1st place: Matthew Ho, St. Mark's Academy of Texas
2nd place: Chaucer Langbert, The Hockaday School
3rd place: Bailey Blair, St. Paul High School (all the way from Shiner, TX!)
Thank you so much to Dr. Croft, our incredible Neuroscience Club sponsor and Brain Bee coordinator. Special thanks to our judge, Ms. Elyza Kelly from UTSW for spending her Saturday with us at the Brain Bee. Thank you to the Neuroscience Club Executive Board and the Neuroscience Club officers for their tireless work and help. Thank you to The Hockaday School and Student Council for graciously funding us.
And last, but certainly not least, a huge thanks to all of the participants and Neuroscience club members--this feat couldn't have been accomplished without you.
