We were thrilled to once again host the DFW Regional Brain Bee after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic. We had a total of 12 competitors from ten different local high schools! Congratulations to the following students who earned the first, second, and third place awards:
1st place: Andrew Minagar, Caddo Parish Magnet High School, Shreveport, LA
2nd place: Vignesh Anand, Centennial High School, Frisco, TX
3rd place: Jasmine Lunia, Parish Episcopal School, Dallas, TX
We'd like to give a special thanks to our judge, Ms. Jennifer Gibson from UTSW for once again spending her Sunday with us at the Brain Bee. Thank you also to Naz Soysal and Anisha Sharma for their assistance with the Bee. Thank you to The Hockaday School Student Council for graciously funding the bee and for the Security, Maintenance, and Housekeeping staff who helped make the event possible.
