I am interested in applied intervention research focused on the reduction of prejudice. I’m also interested in addressing systemic prejudice such as reducing achievement gaps within STEM fields. I use laboratory research to inform applied interventions, focusing on understanding the mechanisms leading to prejudiced attitudes and behaviors and examining perceptions of marginalized groups. I work in both the Prejudice and Intergroup Relations Lab and the Harackiewicz Motivation Lab.
