Deacon’s Giving Box

• Theme for the giving box is Peanut Butter!

     Some suggestions are peanut butter, peanut butter crackers and candy.

•  Always needed are Ziploc bags, gallon, quart, and sandwich sized.

• Also needed are paper shopping bags.

Easter Flowers

The Worship Committee will be decorating the sanctuary for Easter with Lilies and Spring Flowers. If you would like to purchase a plant, please put $12.00 for Easter Lilies or $10.00 for Spring Flowers in an envelope, found on the back table, and place it in the offering plate by Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Mission Outreach and Giving

• Sleep in Heavenly Peace - This not-for-profit organization makes beds for children without them. We’re asking for donations of new pillows and mattress covers for these beds. The mattress covers can NOT be plastic. There is a collection bin in back of the sanctuary until March 21st.

• Westside Bazaar - Join us there for lunch on Saturday, March 21st at noon. Sign up on the Mission bulletin board so we know who would like to car pool from the church parking lot.

• Blessings in a Backpack - Meet at Kenmore United Methodist Church on Delaware Rd. at 1:30 every Wednesday in March. You must sign up in advance. Contact Chris Zimmer.

• Give securely online - CLICK HERE, enter an amount and select what you’re giving to from the dropdown list. If you don’t see what you want, select 2026 Nonpledge. When you click Continue you can enter what you want in the Comments section.

• You can also sign in to Breeze and select Give.

News from ACE

• Lenten Reflections – Prayer Stations - Thurs. nights at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary.

• Ramadan Iftar Dinner - Friday, March 13, 6:30-8:30pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church (724 Delaware Ave) - Join in the breaking of the Ramadan Fast with our Muslim friends and neighbors, sponsored by Buffalo United for Peace. Contact Pastor Micah if you'd like to attend.

• Wednesday Bible Study with Donna Sleap - on break until April 8th.

• New Testament Bible Study led by Peggy Brown will resume Wednesday evenings (7:30) in the library beginning Mar. 18th

• Men's Breakfast - Third Sunday of the month at Deerhurst

No breakfast in March. Next one is at Deerhurst, Apr 19th at 8 am (before worship).

• Women's Dinner - Third Wednesday of the month at Family Tree Restaurant.

Next one - Wednesday March 18th at 5 pm.

News from YCMC

• Sunday School - All grades meet weekly during the worship service.

• Youth Group will meet on the third Sunday of each month after church. Next one is March 22nd at noon.

• Bottle and Can Drive – We are collecting returnable bottles and cans. There will be a basket in the back of the sanctuary (Sunday mornings only) for your donations.

• Vacation Bible School - Our Summer VBS CHRISTmas in July will be July 13th to 17th from 9 am to noon. To pre-register CLICK HERE

Don’t forget to bring in [or send in] your Dash's register receipts

Elizabeth circle uses the proceeds from collecting the receipts to help fund Youth ministries within the church.  Many Deerhurst high school seniors have benefitted from this collection. It's the primary source of income for the Scholarship Fund.  If you have any questions, contact Karen Friend or the church office.
