Deacon’s Giving Box

• Theme for the giving box is Grilling!

     Some suggestions are an apron, tongs, salt and pepper and spices.

•  Always needed are Ziploc bags, gallon, quart, and sandwich sized.

• Also needed are paper shopping bags.

Sociables Game Night - All ages Welcome!

Saturday August 8th from 7 to 9 pm at Deerhurst.

Join us for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and great company at Game Night! All ages welcome.

Bring your favorite board game, card game, or just yourself—we'll have plenty of games for everyone to enjoy! Bring snacks to share. Beverages will be available. Invite your friends and family!

Mission Outreach and Giving

• St. Luke’s Day - Saturday July 25th from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. We will meet in the church parking lot at 8:00 and car pool from there. Please sign up on the mission bulletin board so we know how many are coming and who would like a ride.

• Diaper Drive - Once again we're collecting diapers (any size) for the Doula Clinic on Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo. Please place your donations in the Giving Box at the back of the sanctuary. We will be collecting diapers for the month of July.

• Visit the Mission bulletin board for more events!

• Give securely online - CLICK HERE, enter an amount and select what you’re giving to from the dropdown list. If you don’t see what you want, select 2026 Nonpledge. When you click Continue you can enter what you want in the Comments section.

• You can also sign in to Breeze and select Give.

News from Adult Christian Education

• Hispanic American Celebration - Saturday, September 26th

• Women's Retreat - Saturday, October 3rd

• Women's Dinner and Men's Breakfast - On break until the fall

News from Youth and Children's Ministries

• During the Summer - We'll have the craft table in the back of church. At least once a month we'll watch a video in the library.

• The Nursery - Will be open for people to bring their children but, there will be no consistent caregiver from July 5th until August 30th.

• Youth Group - Third Sunday each month. Next event is August 16th.

• Bottle and Can Drive – We are collecting returnable bottles and cans. There will be a basket in the back of the sanctuary (Sunday mornings only) for your donations.

Amy’s Flowers Program

To keep the fabulous flowers coming each Sunday, the worship committee needs help with setup and preparing bouquets each week. If you could volunteer a week or two please contact Pastor Micah.

Church Calendar

You can see all the events, programs, meetings, and everything that’s going on at Deerhurst by visiting our Church Calendar. There are two ways to view the calendar.

• Visit our website at www.deerhurstchurch.org and look for Church Calendar near the top right of the page. If you don’t see it click on More and select it from the list.

• Sign in to Breeze and go to Events. The calendar for the current month will open. In the column to the left of the calendar, you’ll see a list showing what the different colors mean. You’ll see some of them have check marks next to them. If there’s a check mark, you’ll see it on the calendar. If it’s unchecked it won’t appear on the calendar. You can check or uncheck each one. Try it and see.

Don’t forget to bring in [or send in] your Dash's register receipts

Elizabeth circle uses the proceeds from collecting the receipts to help fund youth ministries within the church.  Many Deerhurst high school seniors have benefited from this collection. It's the primary source of income for the Scholarship Fund.  If you have any questions, contact Karen Friend or the church office.
