Deacon’s Giving Box

• Theme for the giving box is Valentine's Day!

     Some suggestions are cards, stickers, candy and fake flowers.

•  Always needed are Ziploc bags, gallon, quart, and sandwich sized.

• Also needed are paper shopping bags.

Mission Outreach and Giving

• Sleep in Heavenly Peace - This not-for-profit organization makes beds for children without them. We’re asking for donations of new pillows and mattress covers for these beds. The mattress covers can NOT be plastic. There is a collection bin in back of the sanctuary

• Make and Donate Event - Saturday, Feb 21st from 10:30 to 2:00 at Chris Zimmer's house. We will be making pillowcases for the donated pillows. A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

• Give securely online - CLICK HERE, enter an amount and select what you’re giving to from the dropdown list. If you don’t see what you want, select 2025 Nonpledge. When you click Continue you can enter what you want in the Comments section.

• You can also sign in to Breeze and select Give.

• Lenten Reflections – Prayer Stations - Starting Feb. 19th. Thurs. nights at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary. 

Meditations based on the book “Pause: Spending Lent with the Psalms” by Elizabeth Caldwell.

• Wednesday Bible Study with Donna Sleap - Wednesday morings at 10:30

• Men's Breakfast - Third Sunday of the month at Deerhurst

Next one is at Deerhurst, February 15th at 8 am (before worship).

• Women's Dinner - Third Wednesday of the month at Family Tree Restaurant.

Next one - Wednesday February 18th at 5 pm.

News from YCMC

• Sunday School - All grades meet weekly during the worship service.

• Youth Group will meet on the third Sunday of each month after church. Next one is February 15th at noon.

• Bottle and Can Drive – We are collecting returnable bottles and cans. There will be a basket in the back of the sanctuary (Sunday mornings only) for your donations.

Pancake and Bacon Supper

Tuesday February 17th at 6:00 PM - Join us for all the BACON and pancakes you can eat. We also need a few people to help with the set-up, cooking, serving and clean-up. To sign-up online CLICK HERE or use the sign-up sheet in the narthex.

Sociables Mini Golf and Dinner

Saturday February 21st at 3:30 pm - Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome in Tonawanda. The cost for mini-golf is $6/person - Dinner will follow at The Grill inside the dome - YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT – Please register early so we can reserve a private room in advance. • Log into Breeze

• After you log in, go to your own profile (click People then enter your name)

• In the Main section, under your name, you’ll see a list of forms, schedules, etc.

• Click anything on the list to open it

Don’t forget to bring in [or send in] your Dash's register receipts

Elizabeth circle uses the proceeds from collecting the receipts to help fund Youth ministries within the church.  Many Deerhurst high school seniors have benefitted from this collection. It's the primary source of income for the Scholarship Fund.  If you have any questions, contact Karen Friend or the church office.
