A congregational meeting will be held during worship on Sunday, April 12, 2026, to elect a congregational representative to the nominating committee and to approve an adjustment to Rev. Micah Nutter Dowling’s Terms of Call. The adjustment to the Terms of Call will have no financial impact on Deerhurst’s budget.
Botanical Gardens 1-hour guided tour. Starts at 3pm on April 25th. We'll assemble at church at 2pm. Dinner will follow at a local restaurant. Cost is $12 per person. Give money to Dom or Diane Gara.

One Great Hour of Sharing - This PCUSA offering will be taken March 29th to April 5th. The work done in support of the causes supported by the offering — disaster, hunger, poverty, climate change, and immigration/migration and refugees — serves individuals and communities in need. This work provides people with safety, sustenance, and hope. To give online use the link below.
Blessings in a Backpack - Meet at Kenmore United Methodist Church on Delaware Rd. at 1:30 on April 29th. You must sign up. Contact Chris Zimmer if you have never been before.
St. Luke’s Volunteer Day – Friday April 10th from 9:00-11:30 AM we will be working at St. Luke’s. Some of the group will be preparing a meal while others will work at their House of Hope. This is a multi-generational event. A sign-up sheet is posted on the mission bulletin board. For those who want to carpool we will meet at the church at 8:30.

Men's Breakfast - Third Sunday of the month at Deerhurst
Next one is at Deerhurst, Apr 19th at 8 am (before worship).
Women's Dinner - Third Wednesday of the month at Family Tree Restaurant.
Next one - Wednesday April 15th at 5 pm.
Sunday School - All grades meet weekly during the worship service.
Youth Group will meet on the third Sunday of each month after church. Next one is April 19th at noon.
Bottle and Can Drive – We are collecting returnable bottles and cans. There will be a basket in the back of the sanctuary (Sunday mornings only) for your donations.
Vacation Bible School - Our Summer VBS CHRISTmas in July will be July 13th to 17th from 9 am to noon. To pre-register CLICK HERE

Elizabeth circle uses the proceeds from collecting the receipts to help fund Youth ministries within the church. Many Deerhurst high school seniors have benefitted from this collection. It's the primary source of income for the Scholarship Fund. If you have any questions, contact Karen Friend or the church office.
