Greetings from the Membership Committee

An active member of Deerhurst Presbyterian Church

Has the desire to be in fellowship and enjoy the benefit of community by participating in the life and ministry of Deerhurst Presbyterian Church.

Examples of intentional participation my include but are not limited to :

Visible connection to Sunday morning worship as well as the day to day energy of the Church’s ministry and the intention of sharing time, talent and treasure toward the maintenance of ministry

Members of the committee welcome prospective and new members and assists the Pastor with Inquirers Class.

The committee endeavors to aid in assimilation of new members into our DPC family.

Committee is responsible for periodically updating The Deerhurst information brochure for distribution to visitors looking for a church home.

Membership Committee acts under the guidance and approval of Session.

We are responsible for updates to the membership database, Breeze, and church directory as well as creating a new directory periodically to keep member information accurate.

Anniversary dates of longtime members are celebrated and cards sent to the member.

We encourage members to be greeters for Sunday Worship.
