MISSION OUTREACH COMMITTEE

Following our Lord Jesus Christ’s command to go out and make disciples of all nations, your Mission Outreach Committee is charged with giving the membership of Deerhurst various opportunities to do just that

We see our committee as a clearing house to provide the ways and means for others to share the Good News in word and deed to our community and the world through various means . . .

∎ collection of items for those in need

∎ offering food for sale to keep our Food Pantry stocked

∎ sending our youth on mission trips

∎ connecting with sites where our members can give of their time and talents

∎ offering financial support to members going on adult mission trips

∎ supporting the four annual special offerings of the PC-USA

∎ participating in Blanket Sunday for CWS

∎ being a “home” to the Prayer Shawl Ministry and Ride for Roswell

∎ interpreting for the congregation where and how we can respond to natural disasters

WE SEEK GOD’S LEADING IN HOW HE WOULD HAVE US SERVE HIM

If you have a project you would like help with, if you have an organization that we could support in some way, if you have a fabulous idea but don’t know where to begin, come to one of our meetings or speak to someone on the committee.
