I decided to create this informational site regarding the Dream C Club game franchise since many of the online english language wiki's aren't up to date or have tidbits of information spread across several different sites and forums. The reason I decided not to just edit the main wikipedia entries is the need to cite verifiable sources (much of the extra details here are from my actually playing the games.) Plus I wanted to be able to add my own opinions.
There is one all-encompassing Japanese wiki that provides the flowchart and guides to getting a happy ending in the game (original and follow on).
Dream C Club wiki + Dream C Club Zero wiki
Simply translating the game play parts of this wiki is not going to help because a lot of that is dialog sensitive, and that would also need to be translated (subbed) for what is conversed/displayed in-game. I do plan on writing up guides for some of Special Edipyon (PS3) such as navigating the menus. I haven't decided how to do the actual game play part. At one point, I thought about voice annotating my actual game play video but came to realize that too would be time consuming to do. It's probably why no one has done a comprehensive english version; it seems simple on the surface but given how certain events trigger in game (and how in-game calendar dates also play a factor), adds certain complexities with writing a full English guide based on a game that has everything in Japanese.
I originally used my account I created on the streaming site Twitch to post small pieces of information since it was easy to edit the panels. add images, etc. I also live streamed some games to try to at least capture some footage as sample game play, but I didn't have the upload speed at my old place in the US to stream at high quality. That also meant not adding on to the strain by streaming voice commentary. Basically, I am not happy with the archived quality of those videos.
The amount of written information also outgrew the editing capability of the Twitch info panels and necessitated the need to move everything off to its own site (this here.) I know a lot of people do not like using Google but I decided to use Google Sites because it was easy for me to get going with since I was already familiar with old blogging style sites like Xanga and Livejournal (this works similar). Google Site also works well with YouTube; I can make better non-streaming video captures, upload them to YouTube, and insert them easily here. Outside of that, I am not much of a social media user (this site is the biggest thing I have done online.)
What is Jouhou? It's the Japanese word (kanji = 情報) for information.
This site will be an ongoing work-in-progress that I will be maintaining in my spare time.

When I signed up on Twitch.tv, the nicknames I usually used were all taken (so I came up with this) :P
The Shii (Shii-chan is a nickname my friends used with me) came from the longer full name I used when I cosplayed (I didn't use my real one)

Just a little about me since I don't want people to think I'm just a raving DCC nerd. I am a DCC fangirl who figured it was time to write out what I know about the games. I can already see it: "wait, I thought you were a dude, and females play this series of games?" I double-checked, and I do not have a penis down there! I wouldn't say female players are common for obvious reasons but cosplayers (which I did often in the past) find it interesting for the "coordinate" part where you can customize the hostesses with different costumes and accessories. Plus I like the DCC characters, their relatively simple stories, the music, and the live theater version with cosplay/singing performers. I also have obsessive female otaku tendencies in me as well -_-'.
I first got into DCC in late 2010 when I watched a couple of time shifted videos on Nico Nico Douga. The only console I owned at the time was a PS3 so it was not until 2012 that I actually bought my first DCC game; Mahjong. But I never really played it a whole lot since I was more interested in the karaoke and costume part of DCC and DCC Zero. Plus I didn't really know all the rules about Japanese Mahjong (and to this day, am still learning.)
What DCC host girl do I share similar traits with? Probably Nonono (I can be a serious airhead at times), Mari (her being a romantic at heart), Airi (I cannot drink much at all and I probably have a weird laugh like she has when I do get drunk), Nao (I used to be a tomboy when I was younger; I do wear dresses and heels now), and Reika (her down-to-earth but some times spazzy personality.)
Do I play other games? Yes, like Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin, StarCraft II, and Diablo III Reaper of Souls UEE to name a few. But I am very casual with most games. Like I tried playing Dark Souls once, learned how much I really sucked at it, and immediately sold the game.
Other facts: I was born in Japan but majority of my education was in the US with frequent trips back during breaks. While I do have the benefit of knowing two cultures and languages, my Japanese isn't as sharp as it could be (especially written.) Before I went to college (and also after I graduated), I did spend time back in Japan and had fun living it up (traveling, cosplaying, and being a nightowl otaku fangirl.) I recently made the decision to move back to Japan and travel to the US when needed.
My other obsessions? Royce dark chocolate, 100% french roasted Kona coffee, karaage, nabe dishes, sata andagi, onsen, BABYMETAL, 陰陽座, DESTROSE, AOA, classic J-POP and J-ROCK (like SIAM SHADE), Gloomy Bear, Rilakkuma, and Ray-Ban's :P
