Just like the last one, except this one is (a) cut out, (b) has the appropriate holes machined, and (c) doesn't have a big hole torn in the middle. These images are worse than usual, since the lighting is iffy, and taking images of shiny things is hard in general.
The ports are supposed to be exposed in the left image... need to cut those by hand, since my mill isn't tall enough to machine them.
As with all of the parts, there are a few operations left to do- fitting, chamfering the edges, and removing the support tabs from the edges. Not in that order. This one also requires cutting holes for the ports- power, USB, HDMI, etc. I would love to machine those, but the case is too tall to fit on the mill. Lots of hand fitting to be done there.
Up next: the keyboard retainer! That should machine quickly, but clamping will be a challenge.
