I'm finally getting around to polishing up my CAD drawings (after writing gcode got frustrating, I figure I might as well finish up the required drawings). Part of that involves measuring and CADing up my keyboard- in this case, the innards of a ThinkPad Compact USB keyboard. You can see more or less how it will sit in the case in the image below. Yes, there are keys missing; I just filled in the ones that were easy to do in order to get some sort of visual. A lot of the missing keys are different sizes and shapes, making CADing them up something of a chore.
Anyway, one small step closer to a finished product. It's going to look pretty nice, I think.
