Welcome New Members: Trish Roberts, Evelyn Salinas and Nanine Reynolds
President:
The President is responsible for calling board meetings, as well as general membership meetings, setting the agendas and moderating said meetings. The President shall represent the organization as an advisory member on the Comanche Trace Board of Governors.
Any nominee for President must have previously served at least one term on the Board, will be elected annually and may serve consecutive terms.
The President is responsible for assisting the Lady 9ers Golf Association with distribution of internal information.
Vice-President:
In absence of the President, the Vice-President shall perform the duties of the President. If both should be absent, the President or Vice-President shall designate another officer to serve in this capacity.
The Vice-President may be asked to assist with responsibilities of other board members and act as a liaison to various committees.
The Vice President will be responsible for obtaining tee times on non-official play days.
Secretary:
The Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes of Lady 9ers Golf Association meetings.
The minutes are recorded for meetings of the general membership, meetings of the Board and for any meeting so designated by the President. The minutes are to be forwarded to the President. The President then presents the minutes for approval at the next meeting of the respective group.
This position also maintains the Lady 9ers website and assist other board members by updating current information, posting photos and keeping historical records.
Treasurer:
The Treasurer shall collect dues, make deposits in the Association’s bank account.
The Treasurer shall record all financial transactions and pay all bills and other expenses.
The Treasurer will assist the President in preparing the annual budget as well as prepare, present and explain Treasurer’s reports at board meetings, general membership meetings and when requested.
Membership Chair:
The Membership Chair shall lead in welcoming prospective and new members.
This position is responsible for updating the master Lady 9ers Address List as well as notifying the membership of changes and additions to this list so everyone can welcome new Lady 9ers.
The Membership Chair also provides each new member with an angel pin, the Lady 9ers roster and encourages new members to review all the information on the Lady 9ers website with emphasis on the Thursday golf sign up procedure.
Games Chair:
The Games Chair is responsible for leading the Games Committee in planning and executing an annual golf games plan for the Lady 9ers. This can encompass monthly golf games and golf clinics.
This position also monitors the need for golf awards and presents them at a board designated event.
Additional activities throughout the year may include those in conjunction with golfing events planned by the Social Committee.
Social Chair:
The Social Chair is responsible for leading the Social Committee in planning and executing social activities for the Lady 9ers.
This includes one special non-golfing event with spouses/guests and coordination of the annual end-of-year luncheon.
