Welcome to the Comanche Trace Lady 9ers website.

One cannot describe the undeniable beauty of Comanche Trace without mentioning the splendor of its golf course. It’s hard to beat laughing with friends on a sunny day in the Hill Country while playing a relaxing game of golf.  Since our founding in 2008, the Comanche Trace Lady 9ers have been doing just that! 

The Lady 9ers is open to ladies of all levels of play from beginners to experienced golfers. Lady 9ers enjoy the company of caring, embracing and inclusive women golfers whether they are playing 9 holes of golf, enjoying lunch at the Pinnacle Grill or planning the next social event. While the primary goal is to improve our golf game, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, are not overly competitive and love to Par-Tee!

Lady 9ers reserve Tuesday mornings for practice rounds. Thursday is our official game day for 9 holes of spirited play along with monthly fun competitions, including our favorite string game, Masters Par 3 tournament, Bingo, Bango, Bongo, the annual Couples Tailgate & Tees and many other creative games. We also plan offsite golf outings like Top Golf San Antonio or to play at area courses. Social events include our annual kick-off and end of the year luncheons as well as happy hours and galas. We are also a very compassionate group and always ready to help when one of our members is in need.

The Lady 9ers are a group of Comanche Trace lady members who enjoy playing 9 holes of golf.  The group is open to ladies of all levels of play from beginners to experienced golfers.  Lady 9ers enjoy the company of caring, embracing and inclusive women golfers.  We strive for self improvement, but don't take ourselves too seriously; we are not an overly competitive group.  Members participate in social events, including games and parties with our fellow golfers throughout the year.

Membership is open to anyone with a golf membership at Comanche Trace.  To join the Lady 9ers, please contact Pat Collie, Membership Chair, at patcollie1@aol.com.  Membership dues for 2024 are $60. 

Lady 9ers encourage members to obtain a Golf Handicap Index Number (GHIN) which may be done through the pro shop.  The cost of this service is $45 + tax per year and will be applied to your member billing account. Each player is responsible for entering their own game score (in the GHIN system) to establish a handicap which then enables the pairing of players for weekly golf.

The Lady 9ers official play day is Thursday mornings. Special game formats are usually played on the 3rd Thursday of the month. There are also unofficial tee times reserved for Tuesday mornings to allow time for practice and other fun games of golf, while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow 9ers.  There are occasional exceptions to this schedule due to weather, conflicting events or other causes.

The Lady 9ers Thursday tee time varies  between 9:30 and 10:30 in coordination with DST.

If you would like to play on a Thursday play date, you will need to sign up on the ForeTees App no later than 12:00 PM on WEDNESDAY (the day before).  

Or you can call the Pro Shop to sign up. Provide your name, the date you would like to play and ask that your name be added to the list of players.  The Pro Shop will update the Weekly Pairing and Tee Times' page of the website on Wednesday afternoon with the list of players and the pairings.
