The CSUN Financial Aid and Scholarship Department promotes access to higher education by delivering accurate funding to eligible students in a timely manner. As we fulfill this mission, we educate students through outreach and counseling about life-skills and how to access and manage resources. We support students with empathy and encourage civic responsibility, accountability, and financial well-being from a holistic approach.
To encourage such engagement, we plan to offer stipends so that undergraduates can participate in a variety of STEM-education meetings, including meetings with our Noyce, ACT-R, and Microsoft scholars; meetings with the Teacher-in-Residence; and professional meetings such of organizations such as the California Math Conference, the CSU-Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership (CSU-MTEP), and the California Association of Science Educators (CASE).
