Waiver Programs

All secondary school credential candidates must demonstrate subject-matter competence in order to earn credentials in specific fields. Normally, this is accomplished by passing the California Subject Exam for Teachers exam (CSET) in the field in which one desires to earn a credential. Alternatively, one can demonstrate competence by completing a state-approved "waiver program", which waives the requirement for the CSET . Please check back for status on these programs as we prepare the documents for the waiver program approvals.
