The mathematics department advisor serves advises current and prospective mathematics majors and minors in the College of Science and Mathematics. Her goal is to support students in their academic progress and develop a plan to help them graduate efficiently and successfully.

All math majors are required to meet with the mathematics advisor to review their course selection for the upcoming term.

The mathematics advisor coordinates with the MSTI Mathematics Liaison, MSTI Mathematics Teacher-in-Residence, CSUN Secondary Education Department and Credential Office to recruit and advise students interested in obtaining their single-subject teaching credential in mathematics, and do everything I can to make students' transitions from bachelor's to credential as smooth as possible.
