Well, who would have guessed! Even though we had nothing but good intentions, we've managed to put together along with our friends at Wroclaw University a 2-weeks summer seminar on microbots, 1 week in Spain and another in Poland.
We'll be teaching from the basics (how to put bits together, microcontroller programming, etc) to the application level (Lego Mindstorms), including robotics nuclear behaviors that can run in cheap, simple chips. Every class will be in english.
This seminar will be supported by Vicerrectorado de Investigación and Vicerrectorado de alumnos at UMA -and most likely by the ETSI Telecomunicación and DTE- locally. The number of students will be very reduced (probably 10 for each institution) and foreign students will receive free lodgings and meals in the receiving country, plus credits. More information coming soon!
