Donation of Adam McCafferty Photographs to State Library

During a recent sorting of the Coopers Plains Local History Group files, two professional quality photographs by Adam McCafferty was discovered. Given that the subjects of photographs were not related to Coopers Plains' local history but was nevertheless of important historical value, it was decided that the Coopers Plains Local History Group would donate the photographs to the State Library.
The images of the photographs will soon be available in the State LIbrary of Queensland's online photograph collection. A PDF copy of the letter from the Library's Director of Client Service and Collection, acknowledging the important contribution of the Coopers Plains Local History Group, is below.
