Color Guard Team

This team is reserved only those in the senior period. Towards the end of the year, however, the current members will open up practice for anyone willing to put in the time. For any upcoming NS4's next year who wish to be part of the team MUST watch the color guard video as well as be willing to practice EVERY TIME they have their senior period unless instructed otherwise by CDR Testa.

The cadets are picked for competition based on being able to:

-March in step without cadence being called out

-Follow the commands properly

-Stay aligned to the right

-NOT break bearing 

-Be in sync with respective flag and rifle

-Tolerate having the flags fly into their faces

-Prove reliability by showing up to practice

Left/Right Rifle

-Perform rifle movements with sharpness

-Know and execute all rifle commands

Navy Flag/National Ensign

-Be fluid and controlled with flag movements

-Not perform more hand movements than stated

Note: For anyone wishing to ever become a staff member, it is MANDATORY to be on a team other than athletics.

Note: For anyone wishing to ever advance, especially to a chief rank, they must have leadership experience either as a commander, squad leader, or guidon.
