        Denis LePage &           Highbanks

Ontario

Hailing from the Great Lakes region of Ontario, HighBanks has quickly become one of the most sought after bluegrass groups in that province and beyond. Veteran and award winning banjo instrumentalist Denis LePage, heads up this group of outstanding players but each member brings with them years of playing experience of their own.  Their instrumental tunes include many originals, bluegrass standards, oldtime fiddle tunes as well as familiar swing, jazz and show tunes.

But their strong vocal harmonies really set HighBanks apart. The HighBanks song arrangements are unique and include acapella segments, as well as two, three and four part harmonies. Whether its an original song, a familiar bluegrass standard, one of the newer entries in the bluegrass playbook, or songs from other music genres their delivery is designed to entertain.

The HighBanks band members are Moe Juteau (Mandolin, Harmonica), Eric Brousseau (Guitar), Jim Young (Fiddle), Glenn George (Bass) and Denis LePage (Banjo). The band plays with drive, feeling, variety and an engaging stage presence that never fails to draw the listener in.

This is a group you don’t want to miss!
